HI, I'M AVA!
I am here to show that there is nothing wrong with being a homebody and just loving being in your own space. Having moved a fair few times in my life, I have often had to start from scratch when it comes to décor and have always found it to be a genuine pleasure to watch as a place slowly becomes more “me” as time goes on.
While I am by no means a professional when it comes to interior design, I have both the passion and first-hand experience, which means I have a fair amount of knowledge stored in my brain that I am super-pumped to now be sharing with you all. So, whether you are into classic, retro, or modern/contemporary art and interior design, hopefully you will be able to find some inspiration and advice within the content on this blog, giving your home that little extra pizzazz that can take it to the next level.
While my home is an incredibly important part of my life, the number one spot will always belong to my beautiful family, who are the greatest blessing in my life. Having kids is hard work, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. They make me want to work harder so that I can give them the best life possible, including the most beautiful place to grow up in. Our house is often chaotic, yes, but there is not one inch of it that isn’t infused with love and happiness.
As a mom, I am committed to keeping myself, and my family, as healthy as we possibly can be, both physically and mentally. Every decision I make is with their well-being in mind and with a desire to install good habits in them, that they will keep for their entire lives. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t know how to have awesome family time – infact, making memories is one of the greatest joys of being a parent, in my opinion.
I can’t wait to talk home, interiors, family, and wellbeing with you all on here, so let’s get this show on the road!
